Nicklaus Junior Begins 6/27

Sponsored by Barbara and Jack Nicklaus, the Annual Nicklaus Junior Championship, provides junior golfers (ages 11-18) a chance to compete in a 36-hole championship played on two of the top Jack Nicklaus Signature Courses in Palm Beach County.

The Nicklaus Junior Championship is one of South Florida’s premier Junior Golf Tournaments and is now part of the South Florida PGA Junior Major lineup. The Nicklaus Junior is jointly administered by the South Florida PGA and the Palm Beach County Golf Association, two of Florida’s largest golf organizations.

The Nicklaus Junior Championship has a long history is Florida, with some of the area’s greatest Junior Golfers participating. Previous winners include Professional Golfers Brooks Koepka, Chase Koepka and Daniel Berger.

This year’s event will take place at the famed Lost Tree Club in North Palm Beach, FL, As well as The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, FL. Both of these courses are some of South Florida’s most premiere facilities and both Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses.

* Rankings and Status: If the event hits a minimum of 40 boys and 12 girls in the championship division each champion will be awarded 1 AJGA performance star.
