Tournament Divisions: The competition divisions available at events will vary by tournament format. The majority of tournaments will include our 3 standard divisions: Open, Senior and Super Senior. Below are the divisional age requirements.
All players will be assigned to the age division that matches their age as of the first day of the Championship.
* You may always compete in a younger division than your age ("playing up"), but never in a division older than your age.
If playing up, Player of the Year points, when available, will be allocated to the division in which you compete (except for events not offering your division or only an Open Division). For these events with only an Open Division, you must choose which Player of the Year Points Race you want your points allocated to before participating in the Open Division.
*Exception: Juniors (ages 10-18) are allowed to compete in older divisions but not a younger division.
For any questions regarding events or membership information, please contact PBCGA at /membership or (561) 625-0400.

The Palm Beach Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting competitive golf for individuals of all ages in South Florida. We achieve this by organizing 20 tournaments per year, ensuring that our championships are the best of their kind while creating an enjoyable experience for all participants. We are also dedicated to providing scholarships to deserving students and junior golfers throughout the community, with over 195 local students already benefiting from our efforts. In collaboration with golf courses, professionals, and local organizations, we work diligently to ensure the accessibility of competition for all residents of South Florida.
When you become a member you are joining a community of players and fans who care deeply about the game. Membership supports a broad range of initiatives, including:
Increasing opportunities for amateurs, junior golfers, and others to participate in championships and community-based programs.
Maintaining the integrity and standards of The Rules of Golf within regional championships, that allow South Florida golfers to compete equitably.
By fostering a culture of competition and camaraderie, we aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of golfers and strengthen our local communities on and off the golf course.
