Volunteers
Volunteers – The core of the Palm Beach County Golf Association.
Our team of volunteers, officially designated as Tournament Committee Members, are essential to the success of our championships. Depending upon an individual’s desire, there are numerous opportunities within the PBCGA. Please contact the PBCGA office if interested in volunteering for any of the following committees.
The PBCGA is proud to have one of the most dedicated and knowledgeable collection of volunteers in the game. Although our Committee Members come from different backgrounds, they all share one common trait: their love of the game of golf. We welcome volunteers of all ages and experiences. There is a need for all skillsets! We offer MSR credits for pros and service hours for students to help fulfill requirements for current and future careers.
Tournament Committee Members are needed at Championships to serve as marshals, starters, pace-of-play officials, scoring officials, and many other important roles at each event. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable behind-the-scenes experience in all facets of golf administration. PBCGA provides on the job training for these types of roles.
